I have three kids and each one is my favorite;

in their own way; on their own specific days;) some are more needy ; but the love is tremendous and always enough.

As God’s children we are the same, he loves us all; even when we don’t love him back; or when we aren’t very lovable, or a lot of stubborn.

We are all on our way to complete our mission here on earth; you know there is a reason YOU are here, right?  No, it is not to dwell on all the mistakes you have made; and to think about how hard it is right now.  One thing is for sure; we are all wiser as we age; we learn from every experience we have had good and bad; and although we can’t change what we may wish we have done; who we have been with; but we can change our future behavior.

Season of Lent

1

Ash Wednesday, a day of fasting, is the first day of Lent in Western Christianity. It occurs 46 days (40 fasting days, if the six Sundays, which are not days of fast, are excluded) before Easter and can fall as early as February 4 or as late as March 10; this year Lent begins March 1, 2017.

According to the canonical gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke, Jesus Christ spent 40 days fasting in the desert, where he endured temptation by Satan. Lent originated as a mirroring of this, fasting 40 days as preparation for Easter. #Lutherans#methodists #Presbyterians #romancatholics#ashwednesday

Sometimes we get detoured and frustrated because most of us don’t know where we are going and that can be frustrating as we allow our minds to fill with fear.   Some of us are strong-willed are sure we know where we are going; we are headed in the direction and are determined nothing will stop us; and then out of nowhere we find our selves getting swiped to another direction time and time again.

So many people tell me I am lucky, I have been lucky to survive, lucky to make it out stronger and wiser.  Luck has not got me anywhere if I had luck I would definitely play Loteria.

1

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your path’s straight.  Proverbs 3 5-6

Choose to live by choice, not by chance; most of all TRUST, trust in the Lord. When someone questions you or makes you doubt your faith; remember that person doesn’t define your reality; stop making excuses and make changes and you will see results in your favor.

The temptation is great; I will be the first to tell you; I have allowed all temptation in, ran hand in hand in the gardens of addictville, had the greatest time in my life while doing so. Everyday is another choice to  keep it~all that is bad and not for me; everything that consumes me that doesn’t lift me; keep it away all of it, because it is all a huge LIE!  There are so many things out in this world that give you all the greatest feelings; and an easier way/short cut way at a price of you or another; saying no, turning the other way is difficult; and even more difficult when you are already wrestling with all your might to get up and stay straight.  We have our God on our side  who wants us to speak LIFE, forget the drugs, drinks, greed, and hate and SPEAKLIFE to stay motivated and not manipulated !

Praise the Lord with the harp; make music to him on the ten-stringed lyre.  Sing to him a new song;play skillfully, and shout for joy.  Psalm 33
