Finding answers in the danger zone

Do you think that for a minute, we actually make our lives harder than they are supposed to be; because that is how we were brought into this world. Do you ever think that just maybe, we really don’t have to actually carry all the crap we do carry; but we choose to. When things get easier, we take on more, just to feel that feeling of heaviness.

Damn, we are strong, damn we can carry a lot and you know what, we do with all our heavy heart.

A higher power is telling me today, it is our choice to take on all those things that are larger than life and keep them alive. It is up to us, what we choose to carry and hold so tightly to. Sometimes, there really isn’t anyone to blame, but us; who keeps it right over our shoulders. The hard truth is with every extra weight we take on, it does make us stronger and tougher, but it also makes us hurt and that can weaken our spirit.

How much is too much; I had a close friend who was my friend for years, but messaged me one day and told me his wife left me because of my posts; I have absolutely no power over anyone, and what I share or hold on my own is mine and only mine. What is yours is yours; and theirs is only their own. I will continue to share what I feel, and I share because I know I am not alone. If you feel you are left for whatever reason that has nothing to do with me.

What are you working for, what is important to you, and how is that relevant to anyone else but you? I don’t feel sorry for myself, I choose, like you. I also realize, and gather all my keeps, hold onto them and learn to let go of my “keep-nots”.

What cross do we want to continue to carry, what cross is weighing us down the most, what cross is worth the challenge, and what cross completely is unnecesassary? Whatever it is we want or need to completely understand but just can’t is what we need to completely pay attention to.

Moving forward is necessary to gain more satisfaction, however it doesn’t have to be at the price of completely falling forward. We have so many priorities in this life, sometimes other things are more important than others; but we need to keep the right energy around us if we want to feel unified on the path. The energy used is the effort, and everyone should give more to what truly is important, and having the right squad around is a powerful network.

Many of us choose to do things alone, whether it is because we can’t trust others, or the plain fact we’ve done it alone all along. The truth is different people can bring in different insight, when we are so close to the picture, we really don’t see the complete picture at times. Sometimes, we see the complete picture or what we think it is in others lives, we love them and want them to see it too; but they don’t just yet and sometimes it seems like it takes them forever. Even though we love someone else, it is not our job to change their path or their mind; we can point them in a direction and share what we know to be; but the truth is everyone has to make their own decisions.

Letting go isn’t easy, especially when it really isn’t our choice or what we want to do; but sometimes it is something so necessary. Letting go of a difficulty in our life that keeps us from moving forward to where we have to go or just have the peace to be the person we need to be. Sometimes we aren’t use to moving forward alone, and that is tough when there really isn’t anyone around who is supposed to level up with you. Find faith in knowing what starts as a small crawl, nosing your way through will eventually turn into a strong stride.

Security is one of the greatest feelings and sometimes the venture into territory that gives us a feeling of complete defenslessness makes us feel even further away from our homebase. Where is our homebase though, do we even know, who gives us a security of home, do we keep those kind of people? There really is reason after reason that sometimes we are at home and feel completely homeless. When it somes down to it, I think everyone really just wants to go home. I know it is cliche but, Home really is where the heart is.

Perfection does not exist, not in our life, not in us, and not in our homes. It is ok to realize there is light and darkness in everything. We wake up each day and each of us holds a different motive, but what is important is even with all the temptations the world brings, we need to remember what our important motive of the day will be. Danger is everywhere and that is the truth.

Sadly, our world is full of bitter humans who hide in the shadows to ruin others, and that is where the devil lies. Just like good, evil has motives as well. We need to be stronger, much more clever than the fox, we must remember our drive and trust our instincts. If you need an answer, pray, God will send you the answer. The answer is written in the skies above, it moves in the waters around us, it is in the lighheartness we feel in others, it resonates in the spirit that will bring us joy.

Perfectly Imperfect

imageimage
image
What is a defect? The lack of something necessary or desirable for completion or perfection; a deficiency: a visual defect!
image
The definition of defect, that alone makes me want to question what is perfection? Perfection is supposedly without flaws.
What is a flaw? a feature that mars the perfection of something; defect!
image
“It is not easy to find happiness in ourselves, and it is not possible to find it elsewhere.” We create our own happiness!
image
Life is not about finding yourself, it is about creating yourself. Be who you want to be!!!
image
From the beginning of time, I have always hated what others have concluded about what perfection is…
image
I often found beauty in whatever was the opposite of what people were brainwashed to believe,  and then convey.
image
I remember disliking TV, models, ads, magazines since I was young… To this day I’m strong-headed about me staying true to my anti-TV ways…
image
To this day, I vow to change the power of the media, for positive direction!
image
image
It seems in every expression on Television a message is expressed saying what a person~ which is usually a celebrities belief, of what perfection is, is the truth.
It is often,  and if we pause for a moment, look around, we will notice. People don’t trust themselves, people would rather have someone else (if it’s a fake celebrity~they must have the best ideas) tell them how/what to dress, act, wear, color or cut their hair, kind of purse to hold; car to drive; basically,  live! You strive so hard to be someone you’re not by following someone you don’t even know.
image
We women often compare ourselves to one another and we use terrible standards, completely unrealistic standards…
image
Everyday us women have to face society telling us how we have to be, a certain way or we are not beautiful; and we actually accept that as our truth more times than not. Even when we know deep down the truth, beauty is in the heart and shines on the face!
image
And just as we teach our young girls at an early age through our example, we have begun the same with our young boys…
We give all the wrong messages to young boys that make them too feel inadequate before they have even begun to learn their worth… Men should be tall, dark, fit, handsome, athletic, and made of money 💰 or they aren’t date worthy! We will even accept douche bag behavior if he fits the bill.  What is wrong with us and when did we become a sell-out to our future generation?
image
Many people find it a challenge to figure out their own ideas, forget to think on their own, since they have followed others their whole life, they basically go around and clone their favorite characters on T.V., wear what everyone else in their class is wearing, or purchase magazines, watch videos, so they know what they need to purchase to stay looking “perfect.”
image
I grew up in a private school environment, and was told what I had to wear to school each week; the only thing that kept me feeling different from the rest was my refusal to comb my hair neatly and decorate with the good girl bow placed on top all the other girls wore.
image
I wore my hair messy often and would shave the sides or under; so that I could lift my hair, flip it over and shock the world with a loud we don’t have to follow with little reason…
image
image
I have always taken pride in my look and I love to change my look quite often;
imageimageimage
imageimage
image
Many would say I have a completely different look from one day to the next.  I love colors, accessories, but I also love comfort and won’t wear any fashion pain bringing device or will allow myself to be a slave to what others think is “hot”.

Emily Dickinson so plainly beautiful~
image
It is the plain women who know about love; the beautiful women are too busy being fascinating-Katherine Hepburn
image
When I was little I started playing with makeup and I felt like an ultimate artist.  My face was the canvas and I was amazed at how the colors with their bright effects could change my look to quite dramatic.
imageimage
imageimage
I enjoyed the fact I could shadow my face; so it could emphasize the exotic effect of darker feelings harder to convey
imageimageimage
imageimage
imageimageimageimage
My attitude was quite rebellious and I was happy I could differentiate myself from the rest~ using hair, clothes, makeup, and any other way I could think of.
I never wanted to look like anybody else because I didn’t feel like anyone else!
As I started to rebel, and live my life… I found myself getting scars though out the years, from either skateboarding or just being in places that I shouldn’t have… but every scar had a story…
imageimage
image
I started getting older, then I noticed lines on people’s faces and really was drawn how the lines were apparent during certain expressions… it made their face really have character…
image
You could see years of worry, anxiety… you could see years of smiling and happiness…and what a wise “earned” beauty effect
imageimage
Love this gorgeous-very real body– we are not “victims” of aging… Aging is and always will be part of us all; no one is immune, we need to accept this in our spirit; ACCEPTANCE is the key….
image
Aging can be fun if you just sit back and enjoy it; don’t ever be critical of your aging body~the aging body shows a different physical life; a new beauty all on its own…
imageimage
Some smile and then you see it, they have a cute overbite
imageimage
When they laugh from the heart their overbite, you fall in love with because it’s unique to them…
image
or a gap in their mouth…
imageimage
People are so unique,,,
image

I love stretch marks, scars, freckles, just anything that gives extra character/story to a person…I think individuality is soooo super sexy!!!!!!!

imageimage
Skinny/thin people are like little cuddle bears you can hold tight, carry, maneuver, they don’t take up much room in this world but they will take up all the room in your heart… My boyfriend always says how small he forgets I am because my personality is huge! In other words he never sees my size when he’s looking at me, he sees my essence!
image

Small/compact people are damn fast too like lightning, they can zip in out of your sight before you can blink, there small legs are like the wings of a butterfly fluttering at speeds of their own..
imageimage
What does ANYTHING have to do with the size of a person’s body…
image
and, you would think women of all would be sensitive to the issue because of what we have to go through in society… NOT TRUE; they can be the worst!!!
Women who claim… men have to be a certain size & height… it all makes me sick!!! I will NEVER judge a man by this looks, EVER!!!!!!!  Too many women complain how they can’t find the perfect guy; when they are friend-zoning all the good guys because they are too short, fat, or not attractive with movie star looks.
image
Then there are big/bigger than average people
image
so huge I always felt safe with them… My arms love the embrace of a lot of person.
image
Big bears for getting lost in their embrace… Just when you think you’ve discovered all of them, more awaits…
image
the following quote has been borrowed from a friend of mine…

True beauty lies in the heart..I have always envied the thin supermodel..always wanted to have a perfect body. But I was never happy. Now that i have accepted it…seems like i get more attention than before. Its time to happy with what i have..Confidence is key…its the only way to be happy being me. Truth be told we are all different because God is a very creative artist…thank God for the random arrays of beauty. 🙂 ~Lisa Hernandez

imageimage
Tall people can see and reach things I never can…every time I struggle on my tippy- toes, there they are standing tall and confident in their cool ways being able to see above everyone else, yes I often wonder what it looks like from their view…
image
There are no defects and imperfections that aren’t perfect.
